Bios David M. Roccio, Associate Snapshot:
David is an associate whose practice is directed to obtaining patents and counseling clients with respect to a variety of patent-related issues. He has worked in a variety of technologies including power electronics, image processing, signal processing and control systems. David is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. A Bigger Picture: Before law school, David worked as a research assistant in the Project54 research project at UNH. The project focused on the complete integration and voice activation of electronic devices within New Hampshire State Police cruisers. In addition, David worked as an Operations Supervisor at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Merrimack, NH while at UNH and during law school. At the brewery, David was responsible for the supervision of a major production line and its operators. David worked as a summer associate at Grossman, Tucker, Perreault & Pfleger in Manchester, NH during the summer of 2006 and also worked as an intern for BAE Systems, a defense contractor, in Nashua, NH during the Fall of 2007. David joined L&A as a summer associate in 2007 and as a first year associate in 2008. David is a big history buff and loves to travel with his wife, Michelle. He is a devoted sports fan and follows all things Boston and UNH sports. On weekends, David regularly can be found making the drive up to UNH or to some other sports venue to watch his alma mater.
