Bios Gregory K. Gerstenzang, Associate Snapshot:
Greg is an associate who focuses his practice on patent counseling, litigation support and prosecution in various technologies, including semiconductor devices, integrated circuit fabrication, mechanical and electro-mechanical devices, and trademark prosecution. Greg uses the insight gained from nearly a decade of technical experience in the semiconductor industry to maximize clients’ return on their intellectual property. A Bigger Picture: Greg joined LL&A as a summer associate in 2006. He also interned during the summer of 2005 for Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus in New York City. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Greg concentrated in intellectual property during law school where he served as a senior editor for IDEA: The Journal of Law and Technology. Prior to law school, Greg spent several years working in semiconductor device fabrication for Intel in various positions including process engineering and quality control. Specific projects included the transfer of new manufacturing technology from development to high volume production factories, various process optimization and cost reduction projects, and the development of systems for the monitoring of production and quality metrics. Greg enjoys playing pool, spending time in the gym, walking his dog in the parks near his home and seeking out new and unusual ethnic restaurants. He also loves to read, and is a whiz in the kitchen with specialties including Asian, Italian and New Mexican cuisine.
