Bios Aaron W. Moore, Partner Snapshot:
Aaron’s practice includes patent and trademark prosecution and counseling, drafting infringement and patentability opinions, as well as patent, copyright, and trademark litigation. Aaron has experience in a number of technology areas, including medical devices, recreational products, lighting, industrial machinery, and computer circuits and software. A Bigger Picture: Aaron is one of the attorneys who helped found LL&A. His broad practice focuses on patent and trademark prosecution, intellectual property litigation, and advising clients on obtaining, maintaining, and enforcing all types of intellectual property rights. He has represented a diverse array of clients, including manufacturers of medical devices, computer hardware, computer software, sporting goods, industrial machinery, water filtration equipment, floor coverings, lighting, and climate control equipment. He has prosecuted patents relating to technologies ranging from medical devices to snowboarding equipment to computer software. Aaron's extensive patent litigation experience includes a similarly wide range of subject matters, including integrated circuit bus protocols, fiberglass doors, LED lighting, medical devices, and computer software. He has been involved in patent litigation proceedings before federal district courts across the country, as well as in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and in the International Trade Commission. Aaron understands the demands placed on patent litigants and works hard to help clients understand the complex process and to litigate in an aggressive, but cost effective, manner. A substantial part of Aaron’s practice is devoted to helping companies avoid potential infringement issues, both by working closely with clients during the development process to arrive at non-infringing products and, in some cases, by providing detailed analyses in the form of written clearance opinions. Aaron received his J.D., cum laude, from the Boston University School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Boston University Law Review. He also holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University’s College of Engineering. Aaron's outside interests include squash, sea kayaking, renovating his eighteenth century farm house, and furniture making. |
