A Bigger Picture:

Elias is one of the many people who participated in founding LL&A, where he practices in the areas of intellectual property prosecution, counseling and litigation.  Elias has broad experience in the chemical and mechanical engineering fields, including patent practice in the areas of ceramics, polymers, chemical manufacturing process, process controllers, light and heavy equipment and medical devices.

Elias brings almost military precision to his practice.  But then Elias spent several years in the United States Naval Reserve as an Engineering Duty Officer.  Elias was a Lieutenant in the Naval Reserve.

Elias has also served the judicial branch of government.  While in law school, Elias was an intern for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania for Judge John T. J. Kelly, Jr. and for the U.S. District Court of Delaware for Judge Joseph J. Farnan, Jr.  He was also a member of Widener University School of Law’s Telecommunications Moot Court team which won the Best Brief Award for the competition.

Elias also draws on his private technical experience to support his practice.  Elias developed thermoset and thermoplastic compounds for industrial, commercial and military applications as a Chemist for Master Processing Corporation; he developed materials for use as solid rocket motor components as a Research Engineer for Thiokol Corporation; and he gained construction and operating experience in the oil and gas industry and in the specialty chemicals industry as a Project Engineer and a Plant Operations Engineer for Bechtel Petroleum Operations, Inc. and as a Senior Process Engineer for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.

Elias also provides pro bono legal counseling.  Most recently, he prepared wills and other papers as part of the Elder Law Foundation.

Elias is an avid runner and dog owner, a combination that often leads one to find a very tired retriever around the Domingo household.
