A Bigger Picture:

Lisa is one of the many people who participated in founding LL&A, where she practices in the areas of intellectual property prosecution and counseling.  Lisa draws on her experience as an associate at Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, where she focused on prosecuting domestic and foreign patent and trademark applications.  In the May 2006 issue of Boston Magazine, Lisa was recognized by Massachusetts Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star," a designation granted to approximately 2.5 percent of the best up-and-coming attorneys in the state.

Lisa’s commitment to the public good, as well as her drive and leadership, has been reflected throughout her career.  Before law school, Lisa was one of the first Certified Toxics Use Reduction Planners for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and developed and implemented a Toxics Use Reduction Plan for Plymouth Rubber Co.  At Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, Lisa was elected to the Associates’ Committee, served as its chair, was instrumental in developing a firm wide pro bono policy and was then appointed as one of the first Public Service Committee members.  Presently, Lisa is co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee of the Boston Patent Law Association and the President of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of Massachusetts.

Lisa’s counseling practice draws on her substantial experience as an engineer.  Lisa worked as a researcher and engineer for more than 15 years, during which time she gained extensive industry experience and appreciation for the many issues facing industry in developing and introducing new products.  As an engineer, Lisa developed flexible coatings and laminates for Arlon Flexible Technologies, Inc. and pressure sensitive adhesives and vinyl films for Plymouth Rubber Co.  At Plymouth Rubber, she was promoted to serve as the Vinyl Division Engineering Manager.

When left to her own devices, Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.  She enjoys boating (power and sail), gardening, and traveling, and hopes to tour the seven continents.
