Bios Thomas P. McNulty, Associate Snapshot:
Tom’s practice includes patent and trademark prosecution and counseling, drafting infringement and patentability opinions, as well as patent and trademark litigation. Tom has experience in a number of technology areas, including medical devices, consumer and recreational products, electrochemical cells, food preparation systems and methods, analytical instrumentation, building materials and automotive components. A Bigger Picture:Tom joined LL&A in 2006, after working as an associate in the Boston office of Fish & Richardson P.C. and at Banner & Witcoff, Ltd., also in Boston. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in Massachusetts, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Patent Law Association. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Tom worked at Roxane Laboratories, a division of Boehringer Ingleheim, developing new QC tests and certifying them with the FDA. He also worked in the sporting goods industry Titleist & Footjoy Worldwide, deconstructing competitors’ products and analyzing them for patent infringement violations. Outside the office, Tom plays bass guitar in a band with some of his college friends. In addition, he is a hockey enthusiast, playing weekly and coaching his two sons in the winter. Tom is teaching his daughter to skate, and would love to see her pursue the sport as well. |
