Cambridge, MA, August 1, 2006 – Lowrie, Lando and Anastasi, LLP (LL&A) today announced that Lisa E. Winsor has been named president of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of Massachusetts, Inc. (VLA). In assuming her role, Ms. Winsor noted “I look forward to working with the Director and Board Members to increase the statewide presence of the VLA over the next two years. In particular, I hope to provide several programs to support the cultural communities in central and western Massachusetts.”

The VLA is a non-profit organization established to meet the legal needs of the state's artistic community. It is the only organization in Massachusetts designed specifically to address the legal concerns of the arts community. The VLA provides a Legal Referral Program, seminars and workshops to artists and arts organizations from all creative disciplines including, among others, visual arts, music, literary arts, performing arts, and film and video.

Ms. Winsor practices in all areas of intellectual property including patent, trademark, copyright and transactional matters. She has worked with clients in a variety of chemical and mechanical technologies, including nanotechnology, three dimensional printing, environmental systems, medical devices, process controls, coatings, laminates, and waste and waste water treatment.
