Cambridge, MA, March 16, 2004 – Lowrie, Lando and Anastasi, LLP (LL&A), a
fast-growing intellectual property law firm, today announced it has expanded its lease at
One Main Street from 7,640 square feet to close to 15,000 square feet as the firm continues expanding its client base and team.

The firm worked with Cushman & Wakefield real estate brokers along with Hines, the manager of Riverfront Office Park and one of the largest privately held real estate development, investment, and management companies in the world.

The new space is located on the 11th floor adjacent to the firm’s current offices and allows for additional attorneys and support staff as well as a modern production and file room.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

“The growth of LL&A has been phenomenal especially when one considers that we launched the firm less than one year ago,” said Peter C. Lando, partner and founder along with
Matthew B. Lowrie and John N. Anastasi. 

Today LL&A totals 33 employees and provides intellectual property law services to over 200 clients including a variety of private and multinational public companies. 

A sample of clients includes Color Kinetics, Cookson Electronics, Culligan International, The Kinetics Group, the London Stock Exchange, Matrox, Saint-Gobain, U.S. Filter, among others.
LL&A challenges the traditional billing model of most law firms and focuses on quality of client and associate work while encouraging a more balanced professional and personal life.  “Our model has proved attractive to both clients and professionals.  This month, we are hiring two more attorneys to help us continue to serve our clients well as their needs grow, while also maintaining an appropriate personal and professional balance,” said Lowrie.
