Overview LL&A was founded in 2003 on a work model that promotes balance in the legal profession. Joining the team at LL&A will provide an opportunity for personal as well as professional growth. We hail from across the U.S. and the globe and include graduates of the most renowned scientific and legal schools in the country, and many have advanced technical degrees in a variety of disciplines ranging from electrical engineering to medical genetics to business and history. Our personal interests are similarly diverse. We spend our time chasing cars, animals, or our own kids. Some of us circle the race track, some our kitchens, some our gardens, while others circle the world. We provide an environment where learning and serving are paramount and where counting the number of billable hours that one can squeeze into a day takes a back seat. We require 1600 billable hours, leaving each individual time to meet other professional and personal goals. When our associates go above and beyond this requirement, we provide them with a generous bonus. When we say we are a fair and cooperative bunch, we mean it, and that is reflected in our work ethic, our culture, and our bonus structure. We devote time to our pro bono practice and our attorneys spend time volunteering in a number of organizations, including the Board of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, the Belmont Foundation for Education, the De Cordova Museum and Sculpture Park, the Dean’s Leadership Council of the Franklin Pierce Law Center, the Advisory Council of the Drexel University College of Engineering, and Citizen Schools. We enjoy our work, and we enjoy our fun. Our annual Independence Day celebration, to watch the fireworks at our offices overlooking the Charles River, was a 150-person smashing success. We also have a hard time controlling ourselves when it comes to Holiday cards. If you are interested in exploring a career at LL&A, please click here to view our current Opportunities. |
