Pro Bono LL&A attorneys are committed to our work model that promotes balance in the legal profession. One important facet of balance within the profession is our commitment to the community and to pro bono activities. We have worked on a variety of pro bono cases, which are chosen based upon individual attorney’s interests. In the past, for example, LLA attorneys have provided legal services within the intellectual property field to such organizations as the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts by assisting pro bono clients with trademark and design application issues. LLA attorneys have also partnered with other organizations on a pro bono basis, including The Elder Law Program and Mediation Works. In addition to providing legal services, LLA attorneys find other ways to contribute to the community. Many attorneys volunteer in civic groups, serve on non-profit boards, and are active in bar organizations and political campaigns. Some of these activities include tutoring students at the Citizen Schools and serving on the Board of the Belmont Foundation for Education. LLA is proud of our pro bono spirit and fully supports the many ways our attorneys give back to the community. |
